Role Overview
This role ensures accurate inventory levels, efficient inventory management processes, and timely reporting to support business operations. The Inventory Lead will collaborate closely with commercial, Warehouse, and Hub operations, and midmiles teams to optimize inventory performance and minimize risks.
Job Description
Inventory Management & Optimization:
- Develop and implement inventory management strategies to ensure accurate stock levels and optimize inventory turnover and revenue/square meter.
- Analyze inventory trends and performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Implement inventory control processes to minimize discrepancies, shrinkage, and obsolescence.
Process Improvement:
- Lead initiatives to streamline inventory processes, enhance accuracy, and reduce lead times.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve demand forecasting and replenishment processes especially on supply order to Hub
- Identify and implement best practices in inventory management and warehousing to manage inventory accuracy
Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Utilize data analytics tools to monitor out of stock and inventory performance and generate actionable insights.
- Develop and present inventory reports to senior management, highlighting key metrics and improvement opportunities.
- Ensure real-time visibility of inventory levels and accuracy across the supply chain network and constraints in between regarding inventory levels or replenishment to hub (supply order due to MP or facility)
Leadership & Collaboration:
- Lead and mentor a team of inventory specialists, providing guidance, training, and performance management.
