About the Role:
As a New Product Development Specialist within our Private Label team, you will be instrumental in driving innovation and expanding our product portfolio across our platform. Your role will involve identifying market trends, conceptualizing new product ideas, and overseeing the development process from initial concept through to market launch. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that new products meet customer needs, align with market demands, and enhance our competitive edge. This position requires a strong combination of creativity, strategic vision, and project management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct Market Research:
- Perform comprehensive analysis to identify emerging trends, customer preferences, and market opportunities that inform new product concepts.
Develop Product Concepts:
- Create and refine innovative product ideas based on research insights and strategic objectives, ensuring they align with the company's brand and market positioning.
Manage Development Process:
- Oversee the product development lifecycle from initial concept through to market launch, coordinating with design, engineering, and manufacturing teams to ensure timely and cost-effective execution.
Sample Testing:
- Supervise the creation and testing of product samples, gather feedback, and make necessary adjustments to meet quality standards and customer expectations.
Collaborate on Strategy:
- Work closely with marketing and sales teams to develop and implement effective go-to-market strategies, including promotional campaigns and launch plans.
- 1+ years of experience in new product development role within the FMCG (private label preferred), retail, or e-commerce sectors.
