Towards new horizons

Each end is always a new beginning

To our deepest regret, Mr. Pol Wagner has decided to resign from his functions as the director of the IUIL. After 15 years, he has decided to remain active as resource person until the end of the year.

It goes without saying that the IUIL is suffering a great loss, Mr. Wagner always having been a passionate leader and a great driver for the institute. Mr. Romain Martin, academic vice-rector of the University of Luxembourg, will ensure the interim as acting director, while we are looking for a replacement.

As it is very often the case, this end is also a new beginning, since the IUIL will be undergoing significant changes in the near future, changes that will have to be solidified by the arrival of a new director. The Institute will move even closer to University and become a management centre for professional adult education.
We would like to wholeheartedly thank Mr. Wagner for his passion, his neverending dedication and his vision. Without him, the IUIL would never have grown into the Institute it is today and we would certainly not be where we are today. We wich him all the best on his new journey towards new horizons full of promise.
